The Energy Resource Center is a SEDA-Council of Governments program dedicated to developing the region as a center for efficient and renewable energy technology and expertise. Its joint goals include retaining the region’s quality of life while enhancing its economy and reducing the energy-related costs of its residents, businesses and local governments.
The Energy Resource Center serves SEDA-COG’s eleven-county region and surrounding areas, offering technical assistance to local governments, businesses, nonprofits and communities. The staff has expertise in a variety of fields in both the public and private sectors and is dedicated to supplying energy-related information to a diverse array of constituents. We provide aid with tracking and reducing energy use, exploring renewable energy opportunities, and creating and implementing community-wide energy efficiency projects to our clients. We strive to use our local resources to support those in need of energy-related education, information and financial assistance. We are always available to answer energy-related questions and to provide technical assistance and education.
